If you tell me which fields you don't understand, I can perhaps explain them to you.

Thanks very much for your answer,

does exist a table that compare output of fetch2300 and the realtime.txt filed ?

i dont undestand how you calculate or take this field of realtime.txt file:

6 wind speed avarege ( averege of how many value ? )
7 latest wind speed reading
13 wind speed (beaufort)
18 wind run today
19 pressure trend value
20
21
22
26 how calculate it ?
31
32
33
34
41
42
44
45
46
47
52
53( calculate 125 *(t - tdew ) ?
55
56
57

thanks very much
sh

I'm not aware of one.
6 wind speed avarege ( averege of how many value ? )
The average of all the wind readings over the last 10 minutes (assuming you've told Cumulus to calculate an average)
7 latest wind speed reading
The latest speed read from the station.
13 wind speed (beaufort)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaufort_scale
18 wind run today
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Windrun
19 pressure trend value
The rate of change in pressure, averaged over the last 3 hours; as displayed on the Cumulus main screen.
26 how calculate it ?
The same as for pressure.
53( calculate 125 *(t - tdew ) ?
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#How_do ... ud_base.3F

The ones where you've mentioned just the number, e.g. 20, which is 'monthly rain'. Are you saying you don't understand what that is?

Hi steve,
thanks for you support.
unfortunately I am ignorant in weather, I'm trying to do the script for a friend but I'm going crazy :-))

this is the other field:

20 85.2 monthly rainfall ( do you know how is the filed in the fecth2300 output ? )
21 588.4 yearly rainfall ( do you know how is the filed in the fecth2300 output ? )
22 11.6 yesterday's rainfall ( do you know how is the filed in the fecth2300 output ? )
26 -0.7 temperature trend value how calculate it ?
31 37.4 today's high wind speed (average) how calculate it ?
32 14:38 time of today's high wind speed (average) (hh:mm) how calculate it ?
33 44.0 today's high wind gust how calculate it ?
34 14:28 time of today's high wind gust (hh:mm) how calculate it ?
41 36.0 10-minute high gust how calculate it ?
42 10.3 heat index how calculate it ?
44 13 UV Index how calculate it ?
45 0.2 evapotranspiration today how calculate it ?
47 260 10-minute average wind bearing (degrees) how calculate it ?

55 12.3 Apparent Temperature how calculate it ?
56 11.1 Sunshine hours so far today how calculate it ?
57 420.1 Current theoretical max solar radiation how calculate it ?

thanks
sh

I'm sorry, but maybe you should work it out for yourself; many of the answers are in the FAQ, the wiki, and the help. Or perhaps someone else has the time to help you. This is the Cumulus support forum, and I spend a lot of time helping Cumulus users, I can't start doing support for users of other software too.

steve you are right, sorry.
The problem is that I cant use Cumulus client to generate the files, so I have to find a solution with the scripts.
Your product is very well done, and I'd use it for the web.
We'll try to understand how they are made, then maybe even the scripts in place so that others can use them.
Thanks anyway for your support

It's quite likely that you won't need everything; it depends on exactly what it is you plan to do with it. And you can't get sunshine hours from a WS2350, for example, as it has no solar sensor.
