Problem with cumulus/web site??

Post by Goose157 »

Hi,
Please help this is driving me bonkers!

I am trying to use an old pc with windows 7 as a always on pc but after setting up in the usual way everything is fine for a short time - the site updates, all info is fine. Then after about 30 to 60 mins the page disappears just a white explorer and nothing else. I have then got to my site through filezila. The pages are there but they are empty, all the .htm files such as index.htm have zero byte's. If i open them to edit they are blank, not even a template just and empty page.

I am using the latest version of cumulus from the main sandysoft page and i have previously ran my site with no problems.

This is really getting to be a pain as you can imagine....please help!

Cheers.

You probably have ftp problems. If you turn on ftp logging, the ftplog.txt file should show any errors; quite likely timeouts. The only setting in Cumulus which is likely to make a difference is the 'active ftp mode' setting.
