I know I have asked this question already in how to clear my rain amopunts on my National Geographic touch screen I remembered that I have to touch the screen 5 times then hit the clear button. I have done this but the only thing that clears is the hour amount my week and monthly totals are reading 66.87 and 78.67 inches, how do I clear the totall rain system back to zero.

Thank you so much

Hi Jim,

The instructions from the manual are:

Activate the rain related setting by

1) Touch the rain section, the + and – button will be flash. Touch the + or – button to Shift the display between 1h, 24h, week, month and total rain.
2) Touch the rain section again, the + and – button will flash. Touch the + or – button to select [rain] unit between mm, inches.
3) Touch the rain section the third time to set the high alarm function, the +, ON/OFF and – button will flash, and HI AL icon will light up. Touch the + or – button to change the value, hold the + button or – button for 3 seconds to change the number in greater steps. Touch the ON/OFF button to choose the alarm on or off (if alarm is enabled, the speaker icon will be turned on indicating the alarm function has been enabled).
4) Touch the rain section the fourth time to display current maximum rain fall record. Touch the rain section for 3 seconds will reset the maximum rain fall value to current value.
5) Touch the rain section the fifth time to reset rain fall value to 0 by pressing the rain section for 3 seconds, then 1h, 24h, week, month and total rain will be reset to 0.

I don't know if it matters which period is selected at 1), and I'm not sure if you must press and hold the "CLEAR" field or the rain digits (as specified in 5 above) for at least three seconds, so you may need to try both. Also sometimes I think you may have to press the screen SIX times because the first press just cancels a previous mode.

If all that fails then you could probably clear them via the Easyweather software.

Cheers, Alan.
