Hi.

Have you read about how to do it in the wiki here: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Simple_Website_setup and is it is also in the help file in the Cumulus program in creating a website.

You don't upload the standard files like index and today etc, you tick the the standard files and image in the website setup screen. The ones with ending in T are the templates for the ones without the T and it is the latter that are automatically uploaded to the site at each web interval.

yes, and i still cant make it work, i dont know if im pointing the ftp directory to the wrong file path.

Also do all the HTML Files located in web go in as well as the files located in webfiles, as you can see i am a bit confused.

Also i set up a website just a standard one page with the webfeeds from my station from Wunderground using index.htm as the first page and it works, why cant this?

A link to the site would be helpful. If you got the correct directory you simply upload the webfiles folder and not the web folder and then in internet settings tick standard files and images and enter your web site details which I assume you have already done. Then the files in the <....>.htm files will uploaded automatically based on the template <....>T.htm files in the web folder.

It might be that you are uploading to wrong directory because if you uploaded it should be there. If so you need to work out the corrrect one but that something I can't help with.
And what does it say on the Apache test screen.

An index.htm exists on your site, but the permissions are 'wrong'
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.htm/ on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at whatstheweatherroger.co.uk Port 80
However - I can't find any Cumulus files that you say you uploaded (eg.weatherstyles.css).

When you go in with filezilla does it actually show the files in your webspace ?

Absolute file paths tend to cause problems with some ftp servers. It's best to use a relative path; I would guess you need either

whatstheweatherroger.co.uk/httpdocs

or just

httpdocs
