USB protocol for TP1080WC? Want to hook it to an Arduino
I'd like to hook up a TP1080WC to an Arduino Ethernet using a USB master shield. I want to post both weather and air quality data to Pachube. Is anyone familiar with the USB Fine Offset station protocol? Does the weatherstation act like a USB memory stick? Under windows I don't see it appear as a serial device.

Nothing so simple. It actually appears as a human interface device, and uses the windows dlls. You will need to write Windows code as well as Arduino to make this happen. Big job.nafis wrote:I'd like to hook up a TP1080WC to an Arduino Ethernet using a USB master shield. I want to post both weather and air quality data to Pachube. If the Arduino has a libusb implementation then it should be fairly easy to get data from the weather station. Have a look at http://code.google.com/p/fowsr/
