IS IT SUNNY? YES OR NO

Hi there.
I was just wondering how cumulus calculates how it is sunny or not because my stations says it is sunny when clearly its overcast.
This only seems to happen at the end of the day.
Readings in the morning are pretty accurate.
Is there any way of correcting this?
Thank you

Do you mean a forecast, or do you mean your solar sensors (if you have any ?)

If you have a solar sensor, it is probably more sensitive to Infrared which is more pronounced as the Sun begins to set.

I think that the "forecast" is just based on whether the barometric pressure is rising, falling, or steady. It is not really intended to be that accurate. I compare it to the pictures some barometers used to have on the dials.
