Little update about my experiences now when station has been up a month behind remote ADSL line.
Cumulus has been running fine. Now and then error light is blinking and in log I see that the connection has stopped
for a minute or a two, maybe just ADSL going down and up, mostly during night..
Today I closed Cumulus for a while to edit some wrong rainfall data out from the log - I was moving the station a bit and that caused cups movement..
Same time I tried to fill in station real IP address, not dyndns name. Started Cumulus, but still it hangs during "loading data". Waited maybe 1-2 minutes and killed Cumulus process.
Here in my local network "loading data" worked ok. Is there other port than 2222 that I need to redirect through ADSL to make loading work, or am I just too impatient and
waiting 10 minutes is needed? There was only maybe 5-10 minutes of data in logger.

Do you have Cumulus and the station set to same logger interval? If not, downloading data can take a long time: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulu ... t_start_up

Yes I have checked that Cumulus and VP2 logger have both 1min interval.
By the way, what does "28.5.2012 11:27:00 : Data input appears to have stopped - check your station and connections"
actually mean? Connection between Cumulus and Weatherenvoy or Weatherenvoy and ISS?
Now when spring turns summer here leaves are growing in the trees and I'm afraid it's making wireless connection between the station and
weatherenvoy weaker.

Between Cumulus and the Weatherenvoy. It means that Cumulus hasn't been able to read any new data for over a minute.oh6hfx wrote:By the way, what does "28.5.2012 11:27:00 : Data input appears to have stopped - check your station and connections"
