Wind Speed

Cumulus is sending average windspeed to Weather Underground. How do I get it to send "real time" wind speed since average is very misleading to actual conditions? Or am I stuck with average being sent and displayed.

See the Weather Underground part of the Internet Settings screen. It's 'off' (i.e. don't send the average) by default so presumably you turned it on. Note that Fine Offset stations don't really supply what you might call 'real time' wind speed. They supply the peak value over the last 48 seconds (which is what the console calls 'gust' and which Cumulus sends by default) or the average over the last 48 seconds.

Ah yes Steve that comes under dumbass operator! Mea Culpa. I didn't realize I check average speed .
