Wind Speed Error

Post by cgumm »

I am a bit new to this. But i have a TP1080WC tycon power weather station, i have downloaded the cumulus program and got it all set up. I seem to be having a problem with the wind speed. we just set this up and their was little wind tonight so i have limited data to provide but it seems that the program is displaying a higher wind speed than the unit. for ex. the unit shows 0.7mph and the program shows 1.6mph is their a way to fix this? is this normal? is the program reading the unit more offen that the display on the unit updates? and also if this is an error when the wind is faster is the error going to be bigger? when i close the program and open easy weather, easy weather shows the same as my unit. (i have not been running the programs at the same time)

1.9.2 (1032) on windows xp
anyone who can help as i have no idea what is going on or what to do.
