Congratulations! ;)

And the link to your website for those of us who might want to take a look is...

Never mind...I found it by peeking at your profile...

Can I ask you how do you get the forecast data to show? :?

Here is my first attempt - please don't laugh as there is no data yet - the weather station is still in the box; ;)

http://www.glyn.me/weather

Don't think it will be up there on Google though!

Kind regards,

Hi Glyn

Your site is looking good, just need some data to look at now lol..

The forecast issue, try this go to the file where youtr *****T.htm files are located and open indexT.htm in notepad, then copy and paste this below, and replace it in your indexT file

<p>Official <a href="http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ ... .html">MET Office</a> forecast for Banbury</p>
Forecast: <#forecast>
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

But before you do the above make a copy of your indexT.htm file just incase something goes wrong, them all your hard work is not wasted

If you want the rudimentary forecast generated by Cumulus, tick 'Cumulus Forecast' in the station settings. The <#forecast> tag (as used in the standard files) will then display this.

Thanks for the replies guys,

Dave: I already had the link there somewhere...I even have live data now...albeit from a pole in the back garden! ;)

It's roof mounting time tomorrow...

Steve: That's what I was looking for. Does the Davis supply its own forecast seperate from Cumulus? :?:

It's coming along now...

Yes. It has a slightly more sophisticated algorithm.

Isn't it strange that when you google for your own weather site it always comes near the top of the page :?:

I wonder how they do that...
