Yes, sorry, it's completely broken. I can't easily test proxy operation, but I could at least have got the saving of the settings right!

I'll have a new version for you to try shortly.

Thanks.

This would probably solve the issue in one fell swoop. I've just installed Google Drive so I can sync my work files. It had that setting in question - works fine.

I've uploaded build 1065, which should hopefully fix the settings problem.

Steve, you are an absolute genius!

That little fix to the proxy fields appear to have worked a treat. Now, I'm not going to get too excited just yet as it's the Easter break here, so the school servers are all under-going maintenance etc. In fact we are shortly, if not already, going to be using our own wireless (aerial-based) internet, completely separate from the central Local Authority which almost all schools here route through. (They are VERY strict with their internet and ICT policy).

In any case, our ICT technician seems to have kept the same proxy settings for the time being, so the information uploaded from Cumulus still needs to go through a proxy.

As I speak, Cumulus is 'catching up' WUnderground for the school!

I'll keep you updated if anything changes with the upload/settings etc. Good job! :D

Yes, please do. I suspect there are some proxies that I haven't catered for, so I may need to add further options as required.

Apparently I can't use public funds as 'donations'... But I've given you a donation out of my own pocket as a thank you for the use I get out of Cumulus at home, and the personal hassle you have saved me in figuring out a work-around at work!
