Wirelessly connect to a computer?

Hi all, another question. Is it possible to connect the wh1080 wirelessly to a computer? I notice that the unit has a USB port, so was wondering if a USB wireless dongle could be used? Or data over the mains and connect it from the USB to a router, then it would be connect to my main router, and then access it wirelessly or even if it would show up on the network? Apologies if this has already been asked, but I am very new to this and its for my Granddaughter. Thanks for the assistance
