Changing computers

Hi Steve, and anyone else interested!

My computer crashed - the motherboard expired (got dementia I think.....caught it from my mother).
As a result I've been using my laptop - so I downloaded the Cumulus into it and I connected my Cumulus display.

But now my PC is back up and running - and I want to reconnect Cumulus - to pick up from the old records and to also collect the records that have been stored on my laptop.
I haven't yet tried to "plug it in and try it" in case Cumulus opens up a new set of storage folders......or will Cumulus find and download about a week's worth of records that it missed while I was on the laptop? My hard drive hasn't been touched - all the old records and folders are still there.....

Any comments will be appreciated.

PS Managed to sign in as Souwesterly so my Downwest ID is now redundant!

If I understand you correctly, your original Cumulus installation is intact and in the state it was in a week ago when you last ran it? If so, the simplest solution is just to run it again, it will download the data from the logger and catch up.

Yep - you're right Steve.
In view of everything being intact I had hoped that it would simply 'catch up' - but I was just concerned that it might be put off by having been connected to a different machine for a while.
I'll try it and hope that it works.

Thanks a lot Steve - I'll come back if I have problems.
