Recovering rainfall data?

Post by steelblue48310 »

How can I 'recover' the rainfall data that was recorded since January 1st, now that "Rainfall season" has begun? I didn't know that my readings were going to be all reset to zero at the first of April. I changed it to 'January', and now the yearly data show the correct amount, but all the other rainfall values are still zero. The graphs show the proper data, so the data is still there.

I have a 'Fine Offset' system...

Thanks!

That's the whole point of the 'rainfall season' setting; to show your annual rainfall from (in your case) April to April, rather than January to January.

Which figures, exactly? The 'rainfall season' setting only affects the annual total. So if, for example, your 'this month' total is zero (and you've tried restarting Cumulus) then you most likely have a problem in dayfile.txt - but if that were the case the error light would normally flash. If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, along with dayfile.txt, I'll take a look.

Well, now that there's been a few days of rain (finally) this month, the historical rain amounts look OK... I would say that this is now a closed issue. Thx!
