Hi all ... just been moving the temp sensor of my N96gy (maplins) to my diy stevenson screen and i now have an icon on the station screen that looks like a battery with TX written in it. I have never seen this before and cannot find it in the manual. I am assuming it is something to do with the signal / battery weak??.
Seems weird really as i have put the sensor within 6 inches of where it was previously but now enclosed in a plastic box!
Any help appreciated....
Cheers.

Re: New icon has appeared on my screen??
Hi Chris,
Yes, it's reporting Low Transmitter Battery Voltage (but this might be just an isolated data reception error). How long have the batteries been in use? Maybe the TX battery contacts have been disturbed and the resistance has gone up a little, try twisting the cells around.
I believe that the 1080/1 only "updates" this TX icon at midnight, and when the Console batteries are inserted (although the 3080/1 versions update "continuously"), so don't rush to change the batteries or reset the Console, etc. for a day or two.
Cheers, Alan.

Re: New icon has appeared on my screen??
Thanks Alan... was getting a little concerned....i have had the batteries out and the cables to the other sensors were disconnected while i was moving to the new position....hopefully it will settle down soon.....may be i will give them a wiggle if it continues...but at least the data seems to be ok...
Cheers.
