You need to 'rewind' to that point or earlier and get it to download the data from the logger. The easiest way is to use the files from one of the Cumulus backups, but if you don't restart Cumulus very often you won't have a recent one. You'll need to edit the timestamp in today.ini and perhaps edit the April log to remove the latest entries back up to that point.

But if it 'froze' you wouldn't need to do anything, it would automatically start from where it left off when it 'froze'.

If you 'rewind' it will do the rollover and create the entry in dayfile.txt.

The whole thing completely freezes up? You can't use the menus or close it? Is it doing a web update of any kind at the time - anything in the status bar at the bottom?

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll see if I can see anything.

On two occasions it has had problems reading the <#snowdepth> value from the diary file, followed by an ftp problem, and that's the end of the file so I assume it froze:

4/7/2012 01:00:01.105 : Error reading diary file: Invalid pointer operation
4/7/2012 01:00:32.570 : 1:00:32 AM FTP Error: FTP component not connected

4/8/2012 23:15:00.780 : Error reading diary file: Invalid pointer operation
4/8/2012 23:15:34.258 : FTP Error: 426 Timeout

Those problems shouldn't cause it to freeze, so I'm wondering if they are just symptoms of some problem on your PC at those times...

I don't have any idea how you would find the cause of the problem; all I can suggest is that you avoid using the <#snowdepth> web tag, which might stop the problem occurring.
