How do I correct erroneous data in the All Time Record ?

Hi,

I am fairly new to this, having only had my Weather Station since Christmas but since I ve had it set up and running Cumulus software - which i must say is brilliant and far better than the software it came with. I have had two days where Cumulus has recorded erroneous data which has then been logged in "The All Time Record" display. Theses are :-

09.19 19 January 2012 - Lowest Apparent Temp -36c
09.19 19 January 2012 - Lowest dew point -29.3c
09.19 19 January 2012 - Lowest humidity 10%

20.32 04 March 2012 - Highest wind speed 99.5 mph

These records are clearly wrong and I would like to know how I delete/remove/correct them?

I have scanned the FAQ and Forums but can not find any info on how and which files I need to edit to do this - any help/advice appreciated

Thanks Jack

Use the all-time record editor on the edit menu. You can either manually correct the values, a trail of previous values is logged to alltimelog.txt or you can edit dayfile.txt using the editor (again on the edit menu) to correct the values, and then use the all-time editor to rescan the file and fetch the highs and lows - see the help for the alltime editor for how to do this.

You can get Cumulus to try to filter out the bad data that the station generates, by using the 'spike removal' settings on the calibration screen.

The wiki contains descriptions of most (if not all) of the files that Cumulus uses, it's worth referring to that so that you know where and how data is stored - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Category:Cumulus_Files

Thank you Steve for the solution and an extremely quick reply – Simples when you know how :-)
