What's happened to my rain data? asks a nubie.

Hi all, please be gentle with me, first post.

Just got myself a watson w-8681 after the main pcb board died on my davis. It came with easyweather software, which, in my view, not the best.

However after a little surfing of the web, I found Cumulus. I downloaded it this afternoon and all looks great but I've noticed a problem with the rain data.

My w-8681 console shows the rain but Cumulus does not. All rain data is zero.

So what am I doing wrong?

Cumulus starts recording from the point where you first run it. So if you haven't had any rain since then, Cumulus won't display any. If you have had rain since you started running Cumulus, zip up the diags folder and attach it and I'll take a look.

Hi Steve, today is only the second day of running your software and I note all is well.

Don't know what happened, I have even got the first days rain.

All I can think it was, is the days rain fell before I started using your software, like you said.
