It's crashing in the USB controller initialisation code (annoying as that's not used for Davis stations), I guess they must have changed something. I wonder why it crashes on your system - something to do with a USB device you have connected, maybe...

Anyway, please try replacing the cumulus.exe file with the one from this zip: http://nybbles.co.uk/downloads/Cumulus.zip

Hey Steve, No go mate the replacement file creates the same error.. the only usb items on this pic is

1. Weather station
2. Wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse

Which one? There were four different crashes in the file you uploaded. Can you try deleting the bugreport.txt file, then rebooting your PC, then starting Cumulus. If it crashes, upload the bugreport.txt file.

Thanks - similar crash but in a different place. The problem is that the crash isn't in my code, and it's not even in code that's called from my code (it's called from Windows) so I can't even trap the error. I'll have to see if I can stop the USB code initialising.

I've looked at the code for the USB component to see what they changed, and changed it back again. This should be OK now: http://nybbles.co.uk/downloads/Cumulus.zip
