Moving Cumulus ?

Hello All!

I have read and understand the Wiki, "Moving cumulus". My situation is just enough different that I want to confirm the Wiki steps will work before trying.

I have a primary VP2 and a primary Weather computer with cumulus running on it since 04/2009. I have since added a second VP2 which provided information to a second computer with cumulus running. My second computer blew up and I am inserting another computer to take over the recording of the second VP2 data.

Since the data from the second computer is unavailable, I would like to substitute the data from the primary computer as the two stations would have very similar readings. My only concern is the station and internet configurations would be slightly different. Is this going to be an insurmountable problem?

The only issue you might have is if the annual rainfall counters are different, you may get a spurious rain reading the first time you start Cumulus. You also need to make sure the date and time format settings are the same on the old and new systems.
