Suggestions for 'devices'?
Does anyone have any suggestions for gauge/readout type 'devices' they would like to see?
Now on a weather forum I expect lots of weather related suggestions, but don't limit yourself.
If there is anything that grabs my imagination I may (no promises) have a go at implementing it, and if it is pretty and useful enough I may also incorporate it into the SteelSeries library. Otherwise I would leave it as a standalone component - as the odometer was going to be.
If you can find a link to a image of real world example that would be most helpful.

Maybe, but certainly not with the SteelSeries concept animating the display...

Plus it has the great disadvantage that I do not have one! I was think more discrete type devices like the really slick Nest thermostat.

Re: Suggestions for 'devices'?
Hey, Mark, I was just trying to get the thread going...
Sure, the Nest learning thermostat is a nice start... If (or when) adapted to the SteelSeries concept, it will probably the closest most of us will ever get to having/owning a Nest thermostat (at 249.00 USD / 189.750 EUR)...

Hi Mark,
Not sure if any of these are even do-able but some ideas for you.....
* Windsock (for wind speed)
* Moon phase
* Sunrise and sunset
* Sun position using horizon

A man with a thermometer always knows the temperature. A man with two thermometers, not so sure.

Yes just a simple dial with low and high tides that rotates based on location.mcrossley wrote:Possible, what were you thinking a simple tide 'clock' or something more?firewall wrote:Tide gauge?

Could the moon phase and sunrise / sunset be combined into one gauge?captzero wrote:Hi Mark,
