Cumulus Support

when i now download data with Cumulus I get a flashing error light.

when i update the noaa monthly chart summary , there is no data.

hoever, when i use "Easyweather" to download the data it works fine?

all i am after is daily summaries, but with EW tis is not possible.

what do i need to do to the console or Cumulus to get it back to it's best?

What is the error message when you click on the error light?

If EW is able to read the data, then the problem is probably that the station isn't initialised properly (which EW seems to conveniently ignore). If that is the error, you can either make Cumulus ignore it, by setting EWdisablecheckinit=1 in the [Station] section in cumulus.ini, or you could reset the station.

Something on your system is preventing Cumulus writing to its log files.

I have a new security software.

if I turned it off for download could that help?

no, it's not that.

i have recently installed a new hard drive.

I still have the old one connected up, which contains Cumulus???

i pasted it in, then tried a download with no success.

IF this is the best option - how do I do that on a WH1080?

download data with EW, batteries out, count to 100, replace batteries, wait 10 mins then try cumulus???
