Possible error in cumulus

Hello:

It has happened 2 times that for some reason cumulus appears with an error of no input 'no input data ..... "and has twice appeared at 4:55. The problem is that although this error, cumulus what it does is repeat every 10 minutes the same data until reset the pc, because restarting the program not only solves.

The 'Data input appears to have stopped' error is Cumulus reporting that it can no longer read data from the station. You're using a TCP/IP connection to the station - is that to a WeatherlinkIP or Virtual VP? Either way, the problem is either that the TCP/IP connection has stopped working, or whatever is at the other end has stopped responding.

If you have to restart the PC rather than just Cumulus, that would tend to suggest that it's a problem with TCP/IP on the PC - you were also getting FTP errors at about the same time.

Ok, I use virtual VP with tcp/ip connection, but VWS and weatherlink continue working well. Ok that way, but I don´t want that cumulus repeat the same data every 10 min.. I'll have to look at the section on controlling starwach tcpip ports because that is not set because I have no idea. There will be tested. I prefer that starwacht reset the pc.

You could try the 'restart if data stops' setting. That should at least stop it logging the same data repeatedly, even if it doesn't get it reading data again.

It's a bit odd that the Davis DLL isn't reporting an error when Cumulus tells it to read the data.
