Wind gauge graphics not updating.

The graphics for the three wind gauges are no longer updating on my website. I use them on my index page and the gauges page. The information in the mouse over box on the wind gauges is correct, as are the graphics for all other gauges. I haven't made a change to my web templates in two years, and the wind gauges were updating until recently. The only change to my system that I have made recently was to replace the cable modem, although I can't say if that is when the problem started.

The gauges are fine on the Cumulus console, but they never change on the website.

Both the ftp log and the diags file (attached) indicate the ftp component is not connected and is aborting. This seems to occur after successfully uploading everything else.

It has me baffled, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

For some reason the session is aborting before your have finished uploading your graphic files.

You're using active ftp mode, have you tried passive mode? But to be honest I think that's unlikely to help, it looks like the ftp connection is being broken somewhere, possibly the server is disconnecting, or quite possibly it's related to your modem change - maybe some configuration settings in the modem.

Okay. Thanks for looking beteljuice and Steve.

I'll try passive ftp mode, although I had selected active to solve a problem I was having a couple of years ago. I can't remember what that problem was now.

This could be more difficult to solve than I thought.

Turning off active ftp mode seems to have solved the problem.

Hopefully that won't result in me remembering why I turned it on in the first place.
