A couple of times I have had outside temperature Minimum and Maximum readings of +1000 degrees and -400 degrees when I use Graphs Min/Max Temperature but they don't show on View-a-graph for the period.

The values of -500 for maximum temp and +999 for minimum temp are the values that the variables are initialised to at start up, the idea being that they will get sensible values assigned to them as soon as a temperature reading is taken. When things go wrong, it can happen that a day rollover takes place when the variables still have their initial values, so the values get written to dayfile.txt.

If you look in dayfile.txt, you should be able to see the lines with the erroneous values; you can either attempt to correct them, or just delete them.

What type of station do you have, and what version of Cumulus are you using?

Just updated to the latest version of Cumulus yesterday, I can't remember the previous version number but been in use for over a month.

I will have a look at editing the file in the morning
