Directory Listing Denied

Post by njdd »

I recently upgraded to Cumulus 1.9 and had some problems updating my FTP server and so deleted the old files on the FTP server and followed the instructions for setting up the Cumulus again on the FTP server. Previously, everything had been running fine for about a year, but now all I get when I try and load the website all I get is Directory Listing Denied.

I checked this error and it seems that a file is missing but I have tried several times to upload all the files per the instructions for setting up the website, but still get the same error message.

Appreciate any tips on setting up the FTP server and or this Directory Listing Denied error message.

Many thanks

The web server is giving that error because there is no index.htm file. The most likely reason for this is that you configured the ftp directory incorrectly in Cumulus, so the files that Cumulus uploads are going to the wrong place. If you turn on ftp logging, the ftplog.txt file should help to show what the problem is.
