PC that is sending FTP data cant see real time wind data on

this only appears to be aproblem on this 1 pc which is doing the FTP pc is dual core xp pro IE8

Do you mean the two dials at the bottom of your (web) gauges page ?
If so, as long as the PC has Flash player installed it should be OK

flash intalled but will check updates in the morning as pc is at work

Flash up dated everything fine now
