Strange behavior of WH1080

hi,

i have some problems w/ my wh1080;
last few days i noticed that cumulus lost connection and did not update the webpage; so i checked the display of the wh1080.
id was dark; nothing was displayed; so i changed the batteries and tried it again; after a few hours same effekt. display displays nothing.

no i unplugged the usb cord and resetted again; not the display is working for 2 days.

when i plug in the usb cord effect as describe above will come true again; what can i do; where is the problem? is the display unit damaged?

It sounds like it is faulty. I would ask for a replacement.
