Cumulus Support

As some of you may know, Steve has given me the job/honour of keeping an eye on the database of the Cumulus Users Map to ensure that the map pins, website URLs etc are correct.

I thought you'd like to know, that as of today there are 1000 websites listed.

I'd like to pass on my congratulations to Steve for a brilliant piece of software and of course a big thank-you for all the enjoyment that Cumulus has given us.

Looking at the NZ map whoever is showing Whenuapai has wrong co-ordinates as it should be north of Auckland.
Should be around here:-
longitude 174.62228
latitude -36.789319

Unless of course they have moved south from Whenuapai and not renamed the site?

Ballina weather (North Coast NSW) is way off too, showing near Christmas Creek, a long way inland to the NW, meaning it shows as being in Queensland! Also, the web site does not exist.

Zoom in on northern Europe - guess which country is obsessed with the weather!

There is a problem with the positioning of Cwmavon weather station. Currently it's shown as being in England! It should be further north across the Bristol Channel in South Wales.

So that's one fewer for England and another for Wales.

Thanks for all the work on the user map - it's fascinating to browse aroud the world.

Maghull, Liverpool is a dead one. Prescott in Liverpool has moved but the link updated automatically. Warrington, Cheshire is dead. Oakworth, West Yorkshire is another dead one.

Cleveland, QLD does not a Cumulus site anymore, but have not been updating since early last year, when I looked a while ago.
