1000 Cumulus Websites!!!

Netherlands:
Yesterday: 14 sites in the list.
Today: 6 sites in the list.
The map view still shows 14 (actually 15: mine has been re-added between yesterday and today)

It looks like something went wrong with the list creation.

Although my station is on the map it is not in the list

The number of entries halved again. And I hadn't got around to taking a copy of the previous version

The XML file still has over 400 entries, so I guess that's why there are entries on the map and not on the list; but I don't really know how any of this works.

I'm recreating the data as best I can, we're up to 1071 entries and I have more to add. Inevitably, lots of those will be invalid, as the effects of the recent 'purge' will have been lost.

Kevin is going to arrange for a nightly backup of the data file.

I've reregister my station two days ago, but today the station appears twice in the list, and once in the map but with an old url!

I'm still sorting it out; I have a lot to add in still, and there will be some tidying once I've finished.

Thanks for your efforts Steve. Once you've done what you can from your side, if it is helpful I would volunteer to review the Canada sites to identify duplicates and dorment names on the list to submit for deletion. Perhaps other forum members can do something similar for their area and we'll once again have a current Cumulus Users List. I have found that a number of visitors to my website have been directed from the Cumulus Users List.

And perhaps temporarily add some or edit the RED text on top of forum home page "Add your web site to the Cumulus user map or REVIEW your listing for omission/errors"

Steve, thanks for fixing it up, it good to see the the list is back. I am willing to assist with the checking of the list, I can check the Australian sites on the list.
On the list there is a duplicate listing for my site listed as "Ferny Grove, QLD". I noticed a few sites on the list is like this.

The submit form has at least 1 error the country Holland (abbr HOL ) doesn't exist these places are in The Netherlands (NL) I saw 3 places are submitted for 'Holland' one is a duplicate, so 2 of them should be moved to NL.

Yes, it's common for people not to know on which side of the prime meridian they live. Or perhaps Cumulus is popular with sea-faring types.
