Hi
as stated in a previous post i am planning a cumulus instalation in a national coastwatch institute station (a charity) where all watchkeepers are volenteers with an average age of 65 most with not a lot of computing experience i was wondering if the station and internet settings could be locked or passworded i assume there's not a lot of requests for this but i just know someone will fiddle and stop cumulus from working. i had the same problem with a ships ais system software, its not done on purpose but it happens.

Hi fast?

Assume your wanting to display the Cumulus station data locally but not wanting easy access to the system?

Is the data going to be uploaded also?

If yes to both the 2 PCs would be handy. One to run the system and one to read the website.

They dont have to be high powered.

In fact I have a spare desktop with 15" LCD display looking for a new home.

Yours for collection in N Liverpool, Southport or similar

Take screen shots of the settings and put them with the help file.
Also, make a back up on a seperate drive.
