Hi Steve,
Jason has been trying to set up the number of wet and dry days in my "Dashboard" bu they do not seem to be updating what webtags should be used, it used to work but does not even update on the monthly records

There aren't any web tags for the number of wet and dry days this month.

There are web tags for the longest dry/wet spells this month: <#MonthLongestDryPeriod> and <#MonthLongestWetPeriod> respectively.

Sorry Steve that is what I want, think I may have confused Jason in one of my senile moments

One thing I cannot understand, I have recorded, 1 Wet Day and 7 Dry Days, surely the count should be more than that as we are on Day 11 of the month so far or am I just being thick again

If those really are the counts of wet days and dry days this month, I don't know how they are calculated; as I said, there are no web tags for them.

Apparently Steve those webtags that you qouted are the ones being used

Thanks for putting a post on about this, I've been a little unclear as to how it works so far

Currently in use are the Webtags Steve suggested, unless you wish to put in a request for a set of custom tags?

In that case, as I said above, they are the longest wet spell and the longest dry spell this month. They don't have to add to any particular total. If it rained on alternate days for a whole month, both figures would be 1.

Thanks Steve, fully understood now, now the brain is 71 years old it takes longer to fathom things out

Still don't think that this is correct, copy from this months records, we have had more dry days than stated.

Longest Consecutive Wet Period 1 06 February

We had rain yesterday that is not showing up.

I've highlighted your longest dry spell in (ending in) February - 7 days, up to 5th Feb.

Your longest wet spell in February is 1 day, on three occasions so far, the first being on 6th Feb.

So:

Longest Consecutive Dry Period 7 05 February
Longest Consecutive Wet Period 1 06 February

Sorry Steve, my understanding again, I thought that the days were just added, I fully understand now after seeing the graph, you enclosed, many thanks Steve
