Cumulus Support

when I try to upload cumulus realtime to my ftp host, for my website, I get redirected to another IP. Do you think that because I use cumulus' form there might be a connection? I use my FTP all the time and do not get redirected? suggestions?

Isn't this the same problem as in the other thread that you started - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6944 - i.e. your DNS is apparently not resolving the host name to the correct IP address? Could you please supply the information that I asked for in that thread?

This is getting very confusing. Why are you posting to two separate threads for the same problem?

Problems here are:

1. You've specified an invalid ftp directory:

2. For the NOAA upload directory, you've specified a Windows directory; that doesn't work for an ftp server:

3. On the 'files' tab in Cumulus, you've specified /mycaddisfly/weather for the remote file name for the first file. That looks like just a directory to me, it has to include the file name.

4. You haven't specified a remote file name at all for the other files on the files tab.

5. You're getting timeouts. As I said in the other thread, this may be because you're using active ftp mode.
