I haven't received any email notifications for a few days now when others have posted on a thread I have subscribed to.

Am I alone or are others affected? My settings haven't changed.

I'm still getting them Ray, so something to do with your account, or host email system, or spam filter?

It's not my account and they're not in my spam folder. I'll make a change to my account options and then change it back. See if that will kickstart them again. Most odd. Never happened like this before.

I received my last notification at 00:47 Tuesday. Looks like BT have messed up. I'll need to make a phone call to the help desk. That wil be fun trying to understand the accent!

I wrote to BT last night about this problem and although I haven't received an answer I've just received my first notification since Monday.

Looks like they did goof up and have now fixed the problem.

Like me, I do not receive email notification.

The system is probably overloaded sending confirmation emails to all the spammers that are constantly attempting to register. Plus all of the legitimate emails that are sent out, given the number of people on the forum.

Thanks for that Steve. So do you think the problem lies at your end and not with (in my case, BT?).

They wrote to me today asking me to complete a form that made no sense whatsoever. Domains, IP addresses etc.

But I've received one automated message in the last hour but none from this thread -yet. If it is just down to system overload with your mail server then I'll just be patient.

You have my sympathies with the bloody spammers. Shoot them all I say!!

Could be, I have no way of knowing. Sometimes the system sends me emails to tell me that it's failed to send emails, which is somewhat annoying. But if it was overloaded it wouldn't be able to send me the email either.

If you have done something, thank you, because I just received my first mail on the forum.
