WS1080 and Windows 8

WS1080 and Windows 8
I have downloaded the developers version of windows 8 and when I installed the latest version of Cumulus the weather station attempts to download historical data. The download box flashes, but the data does not download. Any thoughts as to setting changes that may need to be made?

I know very little about Windows 8, but I can't think of any settings in Cumulus for a Fine Offset station which would help. If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll see if I can see what it's doing.
