It's telling you that all of your uploads are timing out. You're using active ftp mode, normally you would use the default passive mode unless that didn't work. Did you try passive mode ('use active ftp mode' unticked)?

It's not clear to me exactly where on your web site you are expecting the files to appear? You seem to be using some sort of CMS? Wordpress?

You will also need to fix the problems I listed in the other thread - which I have now locked, please just use this one.

Perhaps you could explain exactly what it is you are trying to do? Use the 'standard' Cumulus web site, like this: http://sanday.org.uk/weather/, or just use the Silverlight Cumulus Realtime application, like this: http://sanday.org.uk/weather/realtime.htm, or both, or something else?

This is what I am trying to accomplish: I have a wp blog site with a page called "weather" and on the page I want to show the readings from my weather station. I would be OK w/ either of those screens.

You need to work out what the correct path is to your weather directory. If you're not sure, log in with Filezilla, and then navigate to your weather directory. Each time you click on a directory, make a note of it. Separate each directory with "/". When you get to your weather directory, the path you've written down is what you need to put in the 'ftp directory' box in Cumulus. Don't put a slash on the beginning or end of the path. That should at least get you the standard web site working.

I'm not sure what those files were that you had listed on the files tab of the internet settings screen, but you probably need to clear those all out from the form. You only need to use that form if you've created your own pages.

That's just a page I created (to host the Silverlight application) which uses the style sheet of the other pages. You can copy the source of my page if you want (you'll have to edit it to hold your location etc), or you can use the page supplied with the Cumulus Realtime package. But for now, can you just get the basic pages working, please? I see you have the pages uploading to the correct place now, but you need to follow the instructions in the help and/or wiki to create the necessary folders (e.g. the images folder), upload the static files etc.

OK ..I have arrived at a point where there are no errors, the tx file is all numbers, three rare no stops or errors in the realtime ftp log ..except the page will not load. I see the gauges and the popup says "loading" ....so it might it be looking for permission? maybe if I turn off the firewall? Any thoughts ....as we are close. Many thanks for your patience ..

If you use http://mycaddisfly.org/weather/CumulusRealtime.html it fails, but if you use http://www.mycaddisfly.org/weather/CumulusRealtime.html it works. The reason for this is explained here: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1495

You can either allow both types of URL as explained in that thread, or you can use a URL with a domain that matches the one in the XML file.

You have no gauges, or graphs or any other images because you haven't followed the installation instructions in the help and/or the wiki, here: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Simple_Website_setup

I don't know why the pages aren't updating. Did you ever sort out your ftp issues?

Just answer this question and I will leave you alone ... the website code in mycaddisfly is PHb and not html ...does thid make a difference? I ask because the page is displayed in mylighttable, which is HTML AND I believe I did not insert anything about weather there.
Bye

It doesn't matter that your web site uses PHP and the Cumulus pages are HTML; they're separate pages.

The report from the station, as you see from the snippets works exactly ... however I need some code to get it to a page on my web site. [note comment ..."Am I understanding you right? You have a weather report page and you want to display this report on your website by just typing its URL? It is not possible to display the contents of a webpage via only its URL. You need some kind of code to pull all the data from the page."]

I did not see a step in the instructions for the code or any comment about using the report as a page in a blog website. Did I miss something?
http://mycaddisfly.org/weather/ = report
http://mycaddisfly.org/category/weather/ = page w/o report
Will you help?

Sorry, I don't understand; where did the quote above come from?

There are no instructions supplied with Cumulus for incorporating the Cumulus pages into a Wordpress site, because this is beyond the scope of the supplied pages - they are simple HTML provided to give people an 'out of the box' web site; it's also beyond the scope of my knowledge! I'm not aware of anyone having done it, and it's not something that I could help with; Wordpress is a mystery to me. I use it for my 'main' site (above the forum) but only for 'static' content. I suspect you would have to use PHP rather than HTML. Maybe someone else will have some ideas...
