I am running the latest version of Cumulus (1.9.2 build 1029) on Windows Vista with a Davis Vantage Pro. Everything seems to work great with one exception. The barometric pressure trend text always shows 'Steady' regardless of changes in the 'Trend' window. I have selected and unselected 'Cumulus pressure trend names', 'VP 1-min barometer updates', and 'Display barometer trend text' and regardless of what I do the text always displays 'Steady' and my website shows 'Steady'. I have allowed the software to run for hours and nothing changes. I went so far as to uninstall the software with still no change.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Re: Pressure Trend Stuck on Steady
The only thing I can think of is that Cumulus is getting an error when it tries to read the pressure trend string from the station (it does this regardless of whether you are using the Cumulus trend names or the VP trend names). Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions for how you might resolve this. I wonder if this problem is specific to the Vantage Pro...

Re: Pressure Trend Stuck on Steady
Thank you, the new build took care of my barometer trend issue.

Re: Pressure Trend Stuck on Steady
Thanks for the feedback; that seems to confirm that the VP1 doesn't supply a pressure trend string (so the DLL returns an error).mdulrich wrote:Thank you, the new build took care of my barometer trend issue.![]()
