800x600

Post by tecno »

Hi,
New user with 800x600 small TFT screen, is there any way to auto scale the screens down to my resolution?

I have just installed Cumulus on my PC that is a small HP ePC with W2K and 256Mb that has been running a while with other program but I was not satisfied with screens not scaling properly.

At the moment I have frozen Wind meters due to wheather conditions but all other data seems OK except barometer that shows more than W1080. Any hints on what causes this?

Cheers

It does attempt to auto-scale down if you try to use below the stated required resolution of 1024x768, so whatever you're getting is the best it can do - sorry.

Cumulus shows sea-level pressure (what the station calls 'relative'). I'm guessing that you're looking at 'absolute' pressure on the console - you need to switch to 'relative' (and set the relative pressure correctly if you haven't already done so).

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the info, already managed to 'calibrate' the pressure as you can see on WU

The screen gets a bit small but I will manage setting it to 1024x768, its only 8" widescreen usually used in cars etc.
As I have used EW and WD I had no problems with USB on this W2K install I use, runs OK.
Tomorrow I will have to get the wind speed in order = carefully banging away all ice. This rig is so badly constructed and not to be used in our climate.
Several users here in Sweden are going to put in heaters inside the rain meter as well as windspeed meter.
Windspeed meter is going to be modified so it will be usable.

Question, how can I get all data from the consol into Cumulus?

All of the old archive data, you mean?
