Cumulus Support

I'm writing a script to generate logfiles in Cumulus format in order to import data via "generate missing dayfile". It seems to work correctly, but creating the missing days gives always High Gust Bearing = 18º.

After some time searching for the cause, I realized that this 18º bearing appears also if Cumulus try to import his own logfiles (v1.9.2 (1027)), so it is maybe a bug here?

Otherwise, the script seems to work properly. I use as basis to do the conversion logfiles in Weather-Display format, but I have also a script that does generate WD-format logfiles from VWS (Virtual Weather Station) databases, so it should be possible to import data from both WD and VWS into Cumulus.

It seems that the 18º bearing does not affect data. If someone will give a try, here are the utilities:

Please make backups before you try, or try on a copy. On my system has well worked, but some things are OS and language dependent so try first without taking risks!

It could be; I'll check the code.

Yes, it's a bug in the dayfile editor in Cumulus, I'll upload a fixed version later today.

As you see here: http://www.casacota.cat/teranyina?num=1327587587 the Cumulus software is running since 13 Januar 2012, but on the records page can data be seen from 2005 onwards (the imported files). Also, Cumulus can generate graphs for every period inside the imported data, so it is very useful. Only the longest dry and wet periods are not automatically updating, but Cumulus is very confortable editing with the daytime editor: a very good tool!
