Hi,
I wonder whether anyone can help. I have just bought a Nit 96FY and have located on my shed and everything seems to be working fine, though having read the forum I am some concerns about the temp sensor and incorrect recordings because I haven't shielded it from direct sun. But I guess there will be trial and error ahead.
My question concerns the console and correctly setting it up in terms of Tendency and Pressure. I am not sure what I have to do to correctly set these up.
With Tendency the icon has not changed from cloud\sun even though we had rain all day.
Can anyone please assist?
Many thanks in advance,
Jim

Re: N96FY Console Question
I think the tendency changes with air pressure so your air pressure should be stable.
Your weather would not always follow this tendency. With the air pressure I set the relative reading to sea level by setting the figure in the station to the closest offical reading.
Make sure you site your sensor to avoid heat with the sensor because that will affect the readings.

Re: N96FY Console Question
Hi Jim.
as stated, get a local 'official' reading and adjust accordingly.
Your airport, airfield or weather station will do.
Unless your a great distance away the reading will be close enough.
Good luck
