Had my first bug report since I've been running Cumulus on my weather server, about 6 months. Any idea what it's trying to tell me? :)

You have some sort of 'lack of resource' problem in Windows.

exception class : EOutOfResources
exception message : Not enough storage is available to process this command.

You may need to reboot.

Hi from Australia,
About once a week, this happens to me too. The first symptom is that the graphs uploaded to my weather page stop updating. When I bring up Cumulus on the screen, there are "holes" in what's displayed. I don't know what storage is insufficient. The Intel graphics info says that 96MB is available with only 8MB in use. There's tons of RAM and hard drive space.
On this occasion, I closed down and restarted Cumulus but the symptoms persisted until I rebooted the PC. I think that most likely something else running on this PC (Skype whose handle count constantly increases up past 7,000?) is the culprit but I thought I'd post this in case someone here recognises the problem and has a solution.

Thanks,
Bob

Apparently the Delphi runtime (or Windows) reports that error for all kinds of issues, so it's very hard to say exactly what the problem is. It could be a leak of some resource, either in Cumulus or the runtime, or it could be some other problem altogether - perhaps Skype, as you suggest There is some discussion of it in this blog post - http://www.lnssoftware.ca/blog/?p=115 - with some suggestions of things to tweak to try to get around the problem.

Thanks for the advice, Steve. Today the online graphs weren't updating and the mouse cursor was barely responding. I managed to get into Task Manager and forcibly closed down Skype whose handle count had crept up to almost 5,000 and was refusing to close normally. Immediately Cumulus and everything else went back to normal. It looks like Skype is the culprit - don't leave it running for days at a time.

Windows 10 has changed your date and/or time settings, see this announcement - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14148

For people in New Zealand, it usually changes your am/pm indicator - see this thread where I show the differences and what you need to change - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14142

In future, could you please start a new thread for a problem (this thread has nothing to do with your problem) as this helps me greatly.
