Hi all,
Just started running this great software and so far so good.
I noticed that there is an "Extra Channel Option" section in the Display configuration menu for the WMR928 unit. I turned this feature on and noticed it appeared on the main screen and it received the readings from my 3 additional sensors correctly.
I have 2 questions so far: -
1. I renamed the sensors in the configuration menu to match where they are located but the names did not update on the main Cumulus front page. Are they suppose to?
2. I then added the <#ExtraTemp1> tag to a trial webpage but the readings updated with a 0.0, Do i need to turn these web tags on somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated.

Those settings are only for the WMR928.
You can change the captions by using a strings.ini file, see http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Strings.ini
There are currently no web tags for WMR200 extra sensors.

Re: WMR200 Extra Sensor - Naming and Web Tags
Thanks Steve i thought as much but how come they see my other temp/Hum seniors attached to the WMR200 and reflect the correct readings? And if they display the correct data on the main page is there any chance of pulling them out for a web page by any other means?
Thanks again
Andrew

Sorry, I don't understand. What are "they"?watanobbi wrote:Thanks Steve i thought as much but how come they see my other temp/Hum seniors attached to the WMR200 and reflect the correct readings?
No, that's what web tags are for. The WMR200 extra sensor readings are only displayed; they're not logged, and there are no web tags, so there is no way to get them 'out' of Cumulus, currently. And if they display the correct data on the main page is there any chance of pulling them out for a web page by any other means?

Sorry Steve, its funny you read your post before uploading and it sounds ok but you re-read it later it and its crap.steve wrote:Sorry, I don't understand. "They" meant to reflect the additional sensors I have connected to the WMR200 unit. These extra sensors display on the main page on Cumulus when the "Display solar/extra data" Channel tick box is ticked in the config screen.

Yes, extra sensors on a WMR200 will display in Cumulus but there are no web tags for them.watanobbi wrote:"They" meant to reflect the additional sensors I have connected to the WMR200 unit. Re: WMR200 Extra Sensor - Naming and Web Tags
Steve,
This week I was helping to a colleague to setup his new WMR200N station, he also bought the UV sensor. The figures from this sensor are also saved in the monthly log file, or only are displayed in the Cumulus panel?
Thanks,

They should be, according to the help and the wikiyv1hx wrote:This week I was helping to a colleague to setup his new WMR200N station, he also bought the UV sensor. The figures from this sensor are also saved in the monthly log file, or only are displayed in the Cumulus panel?
Is the UV data not appearing in the log file?
