Cumulus crashing on graphic engine switch

So I have Cumulus running on a different computer (with XP) and I access it from Remote Desktop Connection (from W7). It works normally but if I disconnect, go to the computer physically and access the graphs section, Cumulus crashes. And vice versa, if I go to the computer physically and go to graphs after restarting Cumulus from the error and then I connect to RDP it crashes on graphs until I restart it. It says something about gdiplus though. So is this because of a change in the graphics system that's unfixable or is it a reproducible bug that can be fixed?
Thanks.

With a GDI error, I'd check that you are running the latest graphic card drivers on the Windows box as the first thing. If you are then try reducing the level of acceleration in the graphic set up, last resort try reverting back to some default Windows built-in drivers and see if that fixes the problem.

I have the latest graphics drivers available installed, the computer is old. But it only happens when I switch from RDP to physical and vice-versa with Cumulus running. RDP has its own "driver" to show things on the remote computer, so Cumulus mush crash on the graphs when it switches from the RDP driver to the physical graphics card driver.

I use XP on my 'weather' laptop too - I RDP to Cumulus without any issues.

Odd, but you actually use Remote Desktop Connection or TeamViewer?

RDP from Windows 7, both inside router and across the 'net.

I also use RDP to access Cumulus (from Windows 7 to Windows Home Server 2011) and sometimes also access it directly on the server, without any crashes. I've tried it again just now, viewing the graphs. I think that whatever the problem is you're having, it's not something I can do anything about.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the explanation, guess pressing Restart Cumulus when it happens isn't much of a hassle
