Edit: I should add that I had my console memory erased with one record only, when I connected Cumulus it went to get 9ºC and 1035 hpa and 25 mm readings from somewhere I don't know

New Transmitter > No Wind Direction (And Cumulus craziness)
So I mounted the new transmitter I got from warranty because the old one whenever it rained, I lost sensor contact. Happens that the rain sensor connection was definitely with mold or something. Happens that the new one works correctly... Except for the fact that I have absolutely no wind direction
I then tried the old one after diagnosing this and the console would no longer detect it but I guess it caught itself on a DCF signal detection loop and I then tried the new one, which worked. So... I've read about a resistor maybe faulty on the wind vane, maybe I could've burned it somehow with the batteries? (I put the old rechargeable batteries in with the solar cell. I measured both the batteries and the cell power which gave 1,5V and ~6V respectively).
Edit: I should add that I had my console memory erased with one record only, when I connected Cumulus it went to get 9ºC and 1035 hpa and 25 mm readings from somewhere I don't know
Happened both times I disconnected and connected the station to the PC but its memory was empty! This didn't happen in EW.

Re: New Transmitter > No Wind Direction (And Cumulus crazine
Adding to this problem it seems like that now it won't last more than a couple updates, it updates constantly for a while, then loses signal out of nowhere. When I move the console a little it starts again, but a bit after it loses the signal again. It's been fine all day!
Cumulus craziness continues, making my data be screwed up.

Spider.
Are you talking about losing contact with your outside transmitter to console or console to PC? Or in fact PC to website?

Outside transmitter to console but after a reset it seems fine now... I hope! Only confusion is the unreal data when the logger is empty, when I start up Cumulus if I reset the console for example
