W-8681 Spare wind vein needed

Post by chrisflux »

I have a Watson W-8681 which has been successful for 3 years using Cumulus.
The recent gales dislodged the wind vein and whilst trying to remount it shattered!
Can anyone direct me to a replacement part as the only alternative is to buy a complete replacement station.

Steve at W&S in Hockley told me on Friday that they've got spares for all the modules in stock. It might be worth giving him a buzz.

Clas Ohlson also sell spares, the passive bits (wind dir and speed, rain) are the same across all the FO units afaik.

Many thanks for help.
New wind speed part from W&S now installed and working. Seems more accurate than original part.
