"The station is not initialised" - Help!

Post by stugpanzer »

I setup my weather station last week which is a Ambient Weather WS-2080 Wireless Home Weather Station and I successfully configured it as a Fine Offset (WH1080 etc) setting. I have had no issues until today. Suddenly, I lost communication with the station. The USB connection seems to be fine and I have rebooted my PC, tried different USB ports and restarted Cumulus Software many times. When I start Cumulus back up I get the error "The station is not initialised". The weather station console is working fine too. I am totally lost at finding a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried resetting the station, that's probably what it needs. Unplug USB and remove batteries.

OK....that did the trick. I don't know why I didn't do that already. i suppose it's because the station appeared to be working fine.

Thanks!
