New Website Gauges problem

Post by sleightyone »

Hi everyone just received a Maplin N96GY from my son as a Christmas gift. I'm struggling to resolve an issue with the displaying of gauges page on my recently created website. I have been trying for a couple of days. I have checked everything and can't see any problems with setup and have read the wiki and help pages but have run out of ideas. I have captured an FTP and debug file. I would appreciate some guidance if possible.
Finally Cumulus looks a great software package with good input from the forum members.

You have a corrupt javascript file: http://home.btconnect.com/iansleight/wz_jsgraphics.js

It should look like this: http://sanday.org.uk/weather/wz_jsgraphics.js

I don't know why the 'Flash' gauges aren't showing; perhaps your SWF file is also corrupt.

Steve, thanks for the quick response. I will re-FTP the files in question.

Hi Ian?,
I've just set up a Cumulus site using BT the same as you http://home.btconnect.com/CholseyWeather/cumulus/ but I can't get to the site though the BT provided software to edit it. I created a dummy site using the BT software but then FTP'd the Cumulus files directly to a /cumulus directory. I can, however, edit the dummy site in /first.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Dave,
I must admit I have never had much success with BT's web creation tools. There seems to be 2 versions: direct at http://wsc2.btconnect.com and/or via your account management page where there should be a link to "Website Creator Link"
more info at http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/answ ... creator%3F

Now my cumulus site is up and running I plan to use stand alone web creation software called "Rapidweaver" on my iMac to tweak my site and FTP any updates.

Hi Ian,
OK, thanks for your input. I think I'll use a 3rd party editor too :)
