Rainfall Error ?

Happy New Year to all
Just checked my Cumulus and its showing rainfall since midnight as -1003.6mm
Apologies is this has been discussed before

If you've had any rain today, you'll also find that the 'last 24 hours' figure is wrong, for the same reason. There's no easy correction for that, other than just waiting.

My Davis Vantage Vue recorded a rain rate of 1280 mm/hr at 3:00am this morning so finding this thread is a bit of a relief

That sounds like a different problem - did the console record that value too, or just Cumulus?

Good point Steve. I checked and yes the station has recorded the same number.
Hmmmm....looks like something to ask Davis about.
