Internal Humity Query

A'noon all,
I'm a relatively newbie to all of this and have just got an upgrade from my basic Oregon Scientific weather station (which basically recorded humidity, pressure and temperature) to a WS1080 which I got from Maplin. Now I've got it all set up well and good, but I've noticed that there's a 14% difference in the indoors humity reading from the Oregon to my new one (the new one is reading 14% higher). I can't possibly imagine that my newer one is providing the more accurate reading as, given that I live in an old stone house (and older houses are usually more prone to higher internal humidity to that of more modern, well ventilated buildings) and have had readings in the past on my Oregon pushing 80% (normally reads nearer 60-65%) ... meaning that my new toy would have recorded humidity in the 90% (and there's no damp running off the walls which I can see
)
How much stock should I take in the internal readings from my new station (which I see from the pamphlet has an accuracy rating of +5/-5%)?
