Really nice templates Jacques!
And good translations too,

Hi,
I've send many language files these days, but I haven't received any feedbacks!
If you have tried these files, could you drop a line to let me know if things are ok?
I'm working on "All-languages-in-one engine" to incorporate in templates update.
Then I want to be sure things are ok, and foreign languages characters are
displayed correctly.
I also want to thanks Steve for it's kind help on using utf-8 in Strings.ini file.
Thanks to all participants!
Jacques.
Ps. I've joined each translator to ask how they want to appear on "thanks to translator" page.
List will be displayed shortly.

Jacques
is there any chance to finnish the german translation now, or is it too late ?
I tried to login to your translation page but without success.
...and of course, pardon but I had only little time in the past weeks to end my german translation project.....2 pages are missing.

Hi Jan,
It's never too late as the translation page will allways stay open!
I've planned it to be a "living" process, always adding some new words
or entire languages.
But, you are on time, as official launch is not made!
I send you a new password to acces Translators Page.
Thanks to take time for all of us!

Hello Jacques
thnks for offering the chance to finnish the german translation
Now I completed the last 2 missing trasnlation pages but:
Is there a chance to review the translations later and correct some of the translations later when someone see his trasnlations in combination with weather values?
For example: I m tqotally confused about the wording of: Weather engine.
what is the "weather engine" of a Weather station?
So I translated it into German by Weather engine because I have absolutely no clue about a Weather engine.
for exmaple a car: A Ford Diesel car.
The Manufactor of this car is Ford
and the engine is a commonrail diesel
but a weather station engine ?
and there are some similar words I am only able to translate when I see the according values behind this.
cheers Jan

Hi Jan,
An other completed language!! Thanks Jan!
As you already know, validation (multi-lingual) pages are available
at translation page; in top menu, all page names in yellow:
http://meteoduquebec.com/translation/index.php
- Now
- Today
- Yesterday
- Month
- Year
- Records
- Gauges (design only)
I'm now on gauges page; base design is done,
"mechanical" side is going to good way!
As these pages are translations in the "real world", it will be easier
to validate. Then for sure, I'll add a "modify mode" to correct mistakes.
For now any translator could do corrections by filling only words to correct,
in page containing mistakes; you don't need to fill all input box.
Finally, for "Weather engine" translation, your truck example is pretty good!
Your website is the body and Cumulus is the engine (motor).
As "sexy" is your truck (truck could be sexy??... as sport or luxury car??),
without a good engine... it's only a "rust food festival" in your driveway!
Then thanks to have keep us in mind that long!
Best regards,
Jacques

Jacques (Off Topic On) you are talking about trucks

I am not aware if you know, that nearly 50% of the cars in Europe are using Diesel fuel, not only trucks?
diesel is much cheaper than normal fuel and much more efficient .....and diesel Cars are not sounding lke trucks......
but anyway, also a diesel Car can be sexy

. from the outside it looks like a normal car, but with a diesel engine inside.
(Off topic off) - it make sense, the engine is the software behind my weather station.....I understand.

Ok for the translation of web pages and files strings.ini.
But, the translation of words inside the program?
Eg: midnight ---> mezzanotte
at 11:35 on August 18, 2012 ---> alle 11:35 del 18 agosto 2012
etc..
Thanks, Luigi
